Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is a plastic surgery of the abdomen. It aims to achieve a flat and even abdominal area. During abdominoplasty, excess adipose tissue with skin is removed. In some cases, we also correct old scars and adjust diastasis recti, i.e. the spacing of abdominal muscles. The surgery takes two to four hours under general anaesthesia. The client can recover at home from the day after the procedure. Drains are removed from the surgical wounds after two to five days. There is no need to remove stitches as absorbable suture material is used. It is necessary to wear compression pants or a bandage for four to six weeks after abdominoplasty. Hidden scars will remain in the abdominal area after the procedure. The desired result of abdominoplasty can be seen after approximately three months and persists for a long time.
