Liposuction

With liposuction, adipose tissue is removed from different areas of the body. It is particularly helpful in correcting the inner and outer thighs, inner knees, hips, abdomen, arms and chin. The liposuction takes one to two hours, depending on the area to be treated. For liposuction of smaller areas, it is sufficient to use local anaesthesia and the client can be discharged to home care the same day. In the case of liposuction of larger amounts of fat, general anaesthesia is required, followed by an overnight hospital stay. The stitches are removed after two weeks at the latest. The swelling associated with bruising disappears in about three weeks. After liposuction, tiny, faint scars remain on the body. The effect of the procedure is visible for a long time and even permanently.
